easing of restrictions

Now that most COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted in England, you will start to notice some changes when you visit us. Whilst this only applies to our developments in England, we continue to monitor any changes announced for Scotland and Wales.

We thank you for the support shown towards our local teams and for your patience as we adapted our ways of working in line with changing restrictions over the past year.

The Taylor Wimpey way of working

In line with government guidance, we continue to work with caution and in a responsible manner. As restrictions are lifted, we will gradually phase out a number of additional safety measures, however some will stay for example hand sanitiser stations and the availability of masks in our Sales Information Centres.

We respect and support the personal choice of customers, subcontractors and employees who may wish to take additional precautions including those who wish to continue adopting social distancing practices.

a safe environment

We are committed to delivering a safe working environment for everyone visiting and working on our developments.

Everyone working for or on behalf of Taylor Wimpey will have a safety briefing with full guidance on the new changes.

Covid safe construction

private appointments

Upon reopening our Sales Information Centres in May, we moved to an appointment model, offering customers a dedicated time to visit show homes and meet with Sales Executives to ask questions or progress a home purchase. Following positive feedback from customers, we will be keeping this in place for the foreseeable future.

In order to offer additional reassurance, perspex screens will remain installed in our sales centres and we will also be continuing to complete a pre-appointment screening questionnaire until further notice. Face coverings will also be available for use in our Sales Information Centres. Hand sanitiser stations will be available in our show homes and offices.

We will continue to offer digital meetings for customers who would prefer to contact us this way.

We will apply the same careful approach we have on our developments to any work being carried out in your home.

Our customer questionnaire will remain in place to give added reassurance. While social distancing and face coverings will no longer be mandatory while working in your home, we want everyone to feel safe and we'll always respect the personal choice of individuals who may wish to continue adopting these practices. We will continue to supply face coverings if either you, or the person carrying out the work requests it.
