Our Land and Planning teams are critical in helping us decide where to build every Taylor Wimpey development.

Can you work from the ground up?

Long before any building can begin, our Land and Planning teams are responsible for buying high-quality land that meets our criteria for future communities. You’ll research the site thoroughly and review planning challenges before developing ideas for a viable scheme that works for everyone.

Would a job in Land or Planning suit you?

If you join our Land or Planning teams, you’ll need to be tenacious, have a strategic mind and be an excellent communicator as you’ll be expected to listen to, and manage, multiple responses to our schemes. While ideas and suggestions are worked through by the Land team, our Planning team is responsible for preparing a planning application for submission to the Local Authority. This requires a great attention to detail and flawless writing skills.
