The Share Portal contains a help centre full of useful information and answers to frequently asked questions, which can be accessed without needing to login first. To access and view specific information on your shareholding you will need to login first. If you have forgotten your username or password then click on the forgotten username or password links. New users will first need to register; you only need 3 pieces of information – your surname, postcode and investor code. Your investor code is a unique number that you will be on previous communications from Link, such as share certificates and dividend confirmations. Once you are logged in you will be able to self-service with ease. If you do need to call the helpline agents will be available for you to speak to.
Your shareholding is recorded on a register of shareholders. A registrar maintains that register on behalf of the Company, including updating shareholders details, and also facilitates the Company’s dividend payments and distribution of share certificates.

It is likely that you have duplicate shareholding accounts set up, usually due to a slight difference in your name or address details on the share register. To merge your shareholding accounts, contact Link Group.

Shares of George Wimpey Plc were replaced on 3 July 2007 by an issue of Taylor Wimpey plc shares. A share certificate for your shares in Taylor Wimpey plc was posted to you around 17 July 2007 or if you hold your shares in Crest, would have been credited to your Crest account on or around 3 July 2007. Any share certificates for George Wimpey Plc shares are now invalid.
The George Wimpey Plc Scrip Dividend Scheme ceased operating on 3 July 2007.
My shareholding
Link Group, Taylor Wimpey plc’s registrar, provide both online and telephone share dealing services for UK shareholders. To use these services, either visit www.linksharedeal.com or call +44 (0) 371 663 0445. You will need to provide your surname, postcode, date of birth, and investor code.
Calls are charged at the standard geographic, or international rate as appropriate, and will vary by provider. Lines are open 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England and Wales.
You may also be able to buy and sell Taylor Wimpey plc shares via your bank or building society, or you can contact a stockbroker.
You can find your investor code on your share certificate(s) and on your dividend paperwork.
Your share certificate(s) is evidence of your ownership and should be kept in a safe place. If you wish to sell some or all of your shares, you will need your share certificate(s) to do so. Share certificates are posted to shareholders at their own risk.
If you have lost your share certificate, you will need to contact Link Group and let them know that your share certificate is missing. If your share certificate has been stolen, you will need to provide a crime reference number issued by the police. Link will then issue you with a letter of indemnity to replace the missing certificate. Depending on the value of the share certificate missing, you may be liable to pay an administration charge and a cover fee.
Once you have returned the completed letter of indemnity, it will be processed and your replacement share certificate will be sent to you within 10 working days.
In most cases there is a change to replace your share certificate so we advise that you ensure you have looked thoroughly before requesting a new one.
You can manage your shareholding via the Link Signal Share Hub at: www.signalshares.com.
If you have not used the Link Signal Share Hub before, you will need to register. To register go to the Link Signal Share Hub at: www.signalshares.com, and select ‘Taylor Wimpey plc’ from the from the drop down menu. You will need to enter your investor code, which can be found on your share certificate, UK postcode and surname. You will have to set a username and password, and a memorable word. Once you have confirmed that you have read and accept the terms and conditions, you will have full access to all the benefits of the Link Signal Share Hub.
From the Hub, you can view your holding and see an indicative value of your shares. You can also complete tasks such as changing your address, making your dividend choices, changing your communications method, buying and selling shares, registering your proxy voting instruction, downloading a stock transfer form, among other shareholder activities.
You can hold your Taylor Wimpey plc shares electronically in a Crest account. This means that you will not have a share certificate and it may make it quicker and easier for you to buy and sell your shares. For more information, you will need to contact a stockbroker.
You are able to donate your shares via ShareGift, a registered charity administered by the Orr Mackintosh Foundation Limited. Your donated shares will be sold and the proceeds distributed to recognised charities.

You will need to notify Link Group of any change to your name. You will need to send a copy of your marriage certificate or change of name deed, together with your share certificate(s) and any uncashed dividend cheques in your previous name so that Link can reissue these. Please note that you cannot change your name via the Link Signal Shares Hub or telephone.
You can change your address on the Link Signal Shares Hub or you can write to Link Group with details of your old and new address and your investor code. Please note that you cannot change your address via telephone.
If you hold a paper share certificate and you would like to give or sell your shares directly to someone you know, you can transfer your holding using a stock transfer form, via the Link Signal Shares Hub, or you can contact Link Group.
Meetings
You can submit your vote at the AGM via a proxy vote. More information about proxy voting will be provided in the Notice of the AGM.
Dividends
Dividends are paid by the Company in accordance with our dividend policy. You can find more information about dividends here.
If you have lost a dividend cheque, you should contact Link Group as soon as possible to inform them that the cheque has been lost. Link will then arrange for the original cheque to be stopped and issue you with a duplicate cheque. There may be a charge for this.
If you have an out of date dividend cheque, you will need to return your out of date cheque to Link who will provide you with a replacement dividend cheque. There may be a charge for this.
To avoid this happening in the future, you may wish to consider arranging for your dividends to be paid directly into your bank account. This can be done on the Link Signal Share Hub or by contacting Link Group.
You can reinvest your dividends into shares through the Taylor Wimpey Dividend Re-Investment Plan (the DRIP). More information about the DRIP will be circulated when it is offered in connection with a dividend payment and you can find more information here.
Please note that the DRIP is not available to anyone who is a resident in the USA or Canada.
Communications
Companies are able to communicate with their shareholders electronically. Electronic communications enable the Company to communicate in a more timely, environmentally friendly and cost effective manner, which is in the interest of all shareholders. Taylor Wimpey plc has decided to provide all shareholder communications, including the Annual Report and Accounts and Notice of the AGM, via the Company’s website, except where shareholders have requested a paper copy.
