Quedgeley, Gloucestershire

Our Quedgeley site on a former Royal Air Force facility to the south of Gloucester will include 3,200 new homes, of which just under half will have been delivered by Taylor Wimpey Bristol.

The development has created a new community with a range of education, retail and leisure facilities. These include two new primary schools, nursery facilities, retail units, a doctors’ surgery, football pitches, tennis courts, cricket pitches and a BMX track. A listed barn has been converted into a local pub for the community.

Quedgeley is also home to our first ever Apprentice Academy, enabling apprentices in a variety of trades to gain practical skills. A training room on site, provided space for apprentices to complete training on health and safety, NHBC standards, use of materials and other theory elements towards their qualification. Some of the apprentices have gone on to become full time members of our Bristol team.
