Family upsize to dream home at Beaumont Gate

Dave and Emily Rice were eager for a home upgrade, seeking more space for their family.

The couple, who relocated from Thirsk, opted for our four-bedroom Coltham at Beaumont Gate in Bedale. Dave said: “We both lived with our children in Thirsk, however we felt that the house was just too small so we decided to look for a new home. We have friends and family living in Taylor Wimpey homes who had a really positive experience, so we decided to explore Taylor Wimpey properties in the area and stumbled upon Beaumont Gate.”

The couple were already familiar with the area, Emily said: “Our children went to school in Bedale so we knew the area really well. Beaumont Gate is only 15 miles from where we were originally living in Thirsk, so we decided to up sticks and relocate the short distance to Aiskew.”
 
 Dave and Emily previously lived in a new build home and were drawn into Taylor Wimpey’s 10 year NHBC warranty, Dave said: “Our home came with a 10 year NHBC warranty, covering any physical damage or defect to our home - this really gave us peace of mind when moving in.”

Now Dave and Emily have settled into their new home at Beaumont Gate, Dave said: “We know wholeheartedly that this was the right decision. The team has been amazing throughout our journey, and the onsite support from Jack and Glen has been great, offering us advice when required.” 

Reflecting on their move, Emily said: “Beaumont Gate has a real community spirit, everyone is friendly and approachable. This is a home that we’ll enjoy making memories in as we raise our children. For anyone who’s thinking about purchasing a home with Taylor Wimpey, it was the best decision we made, and I am certain that it will be the best decision you will make too.”
