Be it a contribution towards some much needed new equipment, a community care project or anything in between, we want to hear from you. All nominations will need to be received by midnight on Tuesday 31st March 2026. We will then select one charity or community group to receive the £1,000 donation.
Jason Turner, Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey North Thames, said: “Community groups and local charities rely heavily on the support they receive, so we are delighted to be able to do our bit for residents around Chaulden through our community chest campaign. If you know of a worthy cause in your area, we would love to hear about them.”
Launching our brand-new showhome
We invited homebuyers to an exclusive launch event weekend for our brand-new showhome at Chaulden Meadows. The unveiling of the four-bedroom Rightford showhome took place on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October. Attendees were among the first to grab an exclusive look at what the home has to offer as well as taking away some interior design inspiration.
Jason Turner, Sales Manager at Taylor Wimpey North Thames, said: “We are delighted to have launched our new show home at Chaulden Meadows along with our on-site sales office. The launch weekend was a great success, potential homebuyers were able to find out about our exclusive offers and incentives available while enjoying a hot drink and a sweet treat.
“We encourage anyone looking to make a move to Hemel Hempstead to book an appointment with our friendly sales team at our brand-new sales office and explore the showhome so that they can picture what life at Chaulden Meadows could look like.”
We encourage sustainability at Halloween event
We sponsored this year’s Old Town Halloween Party, which took place in Hemel Hempstead’s High Street and was organised by Dacorum Borough Council in partnership with Hemel Old Town Market and Community Action Dacorum. Those attending the event on Sunday 26th October enjoyed facepainting, Harry Potter-themed entertainers, lantern making, fairground rides, and food, market and community stalls. During the day, Jungle Juniors visited the Old Town Hall to give attending children the chance to meet several reptile and bug species.
Our £400 donation funded 200 reusable Trick N’ Treat bags, which were handed out to participants of the fancy dress competition organised by Community Action Dacorum.
“I’m delighted the celebration came back with a bang, ending with a spectacular fireworks display in Gadebridge Park - a fitting finale to one of our most loved community events.”
Jason Turner, Sales Manager at Taylor Wimpey North Thames, said: “We are delighted to have supported this year’s Old Town Halloween Party. Not only does this event provide a free, fun day out for the family and a fantastic celebration event for Halloween, but it’s also a chance for the community to come together.
“We also hope that the reusable Trick N’ Treat bags that we funded reduced some of the plastic waste produced through Halloween activities such as Trick N’ Treating, and are something that the competition participants can keep and use again in future celebrations.”
We support sustainability at Hemel Fest 2025
We encouraged sustainability and reduced plastic waste as Hemel Fest’s Recyclable Cups Sponsor this year. Now in its 3rd year, the three-day festival took place from 8th - 10th August and featured non-stop live music including performances from Artful Dodger and Monka on the Friday, and top tribute acts like Don’t Stop Queen Now, Ultimate Coldplay, and Complete Madness on the Saturday. On top of this, there were a variety of activities for festival attendees to take part in, including fairground rides and a bouncy castle for the little ones.
Hemel Fest saw a footfall of over 2,000 people this year. Our sponsorship was part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community surrounding Chaulden Meadows and was used to fund the festival’s recyclable cups.
Ed Fowler, Founder of Hemel Fest, said: “Now in its third year, Hemel Fest is fast becoming a regular date for the diary and this year we had absolutely fantastic weather and Gadebridge Park was filled with people thoroughly enjoying the music, food and drinks - dancing and singing their hearts out. We are very much looking forward to doing it all over again in 2026.”
Jason Turner, Sales Manager at Taylor Wimpey North Thames said: "We're delighted to not only help fund a fun day out for the Hemel community, but also sponsor the sustainable effort to reduce the plastic waste produced by a large-scale event such as this. We hope everyone had a fantastic day at Hemel Fest and that our recyclable cups helped visitors to reduce their plastic waste.”
