Keeping children safe
The initiative asked pupils to design a sign to encourage drivers to slow down in the Appledown Gate area.
The speed sign will be installed one and half miles away from the primary school to keep pupils and residents safe.
Layla, winner of the competition, received a £50 voucher as part of her prize. Commenting on the initiative, John Astley, Deputy Headteacher at Kersley Grange Primary Academy: "We are grateful to Taylor Wimpey for giving our pupils the opportunity to unleash their creativity while also making a real difference to road safety."
