New books for Holytown primary
Celebrating 26 years, World Book Day aims to encourage children of all ages to enjoy and appreciate the pleasures of all types of books.
Laura Alcorn, Head Teacher at Holytown Primary, said: “World Book Day is a fantastic initiative which focuses on encouraging children to develop their enjoyment of reading as well as their appreciation of books. Thanks to Taylor Wimpey’s donation, we can add lots of different styles of new books to our school library, and this means every child can enjoy them in their own way."
The World Book Day donation to Holytown Primary is one of many ways in which Taylor Wimpey is supporting the local communities in which it builds.
