Couple make a return to the South Coast countryside

A new start in Whiteley

The couple made the move from Swindon, when looking to return to the South Coast after renting a home outside of Southampton a few years ago. 

Keen to start their new life in Whiteley and explore the local area, Clinton and Dawn chose to purchase a new build home over a pre-owned one due to a new build’s readiness to move into without the need for decorating. Clinton said: “We just wanted to move our furniture in, hang a few pictures and get on with our new life!”

Woodlands Chase

What drew Clinton and Dawn to Woodlands Chase was its countryside living with the benefits of local amenities and commuting links. Dawn said: “Woodlands Chase’s close proximity to Whiteley Shopping Centre and the woodland areas surrounding it were a real attraction. This is in addition to the development’s easy access to the M27 which means better commuting links to Portsmouth and Southampton.”

Now that the couple have moved in, Dawn shared the things they love most about Woodlands Chase and their new home: “Everything is brand new and with our furniture moved in, the apartment is actually more spacious than we imagined. We’re also really impressed with the quality of the finish.

“We’re enjoying exploring the woodland surrounding Woodlands Chase. There’s a wide variety of housing on the estate too which creates a nice community. We’re only a 10 minute drive from the River Hamble and 15 minutes from the shingle beaches at Meon and Hillhead, so we’ve also been having winter walks in these areas and can’t wait for the summer.”
