A home is more than just a house, it’s also about the community that surrounds it. And that’s why we invest in building communities that support local businesses, improve facilities in the area and help bring people together.

Supporting Bolton
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local causes, we aim to team up with a number of organisations around the local and Bolton area.
Over the festive period, we held a food collection at our head office. Donations from this went directly to the Trussell Trust Foodbank, ensuring items are readily available for any emergency food parcels across Bolton. Deborah Opadijo, Foodbank manager at the Trussell Trust Farnworth and Kearsley Foodbank, said: “At the Trussell Trust, we believe that no one in the United Kingdom should need a foodbank to survive.”
“We are made up of 36,000 volunteers across 1,400 food bank locations. We rely on the support and generosity of our volunteers, as well as individuals and companies, such as Taylor Wimpey, who provide us with food or financial donations to help those in need. We are very grateful for this donation, especially so close to Christmas.”
Recently, we donated £400 to the Destitute Animal Shelter - a rescue charity dedicated to caring for lost, stray and abandoned dogs and cats. Jenna Jones, Operations Manager at the charity, said: “We help, love, and rehome over 450 animals per year, which wouldn’t be possible without support from the wider community and our wonderful volunteers.
“We want to say a huge thank you to Taylor Wimpey for their extremely kind donation”.
