Primary school blooms after seedhouse donation
We donated 25 seed houses to St John’s Primary Academy in Bracebridge Heath, to help encourage education on biodiversity and local wildlife.
The seed houses, which promote wildflower growth, have enabled pupils to introduce native plant species to the area while learning about biodiversity and wildlife.
Melanie Frain, Gardening Club Lead from St John’s Primary Academy, said: “We are really grateful to have received the seed houses from Taylor Wimpey. We try to encourage the pupils to get outdoors and get involved in learning about biodiversity whenever we can.
“The pupils have thoroughly enjoyed planting the seedhouses and are looking forward to seeing all the flowers in bloom in the coming summer months.”

Guests were invited to tour the new sales office, meet our team and discover more about the new community taking shape.
Visitors also explored the two professionally designed show homes and saw for themselves the contemporary interiors and energy-efficient features available to future homeowners.
We will contribute more than £2.8 million towards local infrastructure and services, including education, healthcare, community facilities and sustainable transport.

We support the IBCCs Salute to the 40s Weekend
We sponsored the International Bomber Command Centre’s (IBCC) annual Salute to the 40’s Weekend.The IBBC’s aim is to commemorate the bravery of those who served and supported in the Bomber Command.
The Salute to the 40’s Weekend provided a multitude of 40’s themed activities ranging from displays, talks, an array of music and a vintage tearoom.
Nicky van der Drift OBE, CEO of IBCC, said: “The IBCC’s 9th Salute to the 40s event was a rip-roaring success with over 4,100 people attending to participate in this celebration of the era. The mainstay of the event was the garden marquee. Taylor Wimpey’s support for the event meant that our visitors to the tearoom and the themed events could relax in comfortable surroundings whilst being entertained and fed.”
