It rates each local council area in a list of the best places to be born, grow up and grow old.

Karl Von Gordon is celebrating after winning a Pride in the Job 2025 Quality Award from the National House-Building Council (NHBC), recognising his outstanding work at Willow Green.The award honours excellence in site management and build quality, placing Karl Von Gordon in the the top 5% of site managers in the UK. Pride in the Job celebrates site managers’ dedication to raising standards in house building, showcasing best practice and rewarding excellence. Judging is rigorous and thousands of inspections have taken place to determine the 450 award winners from a field of circa 8,200 sites.
Karl Von Gordon, said: “It’s an honour to have received a Quality Award from the NHBC. The whole team at Willow Green are passionate about building high quality homes and I’m delighted that our efforts have been recognised. For me, being acknowledged as one of the top site managers not only in the local area, but across the UK, is a true career highlight and something I’m extremely proud of.”

The concert, which took place on the 22nd of May, brought together talented choirs and music lovers from across the region for an unforgettable evening of choral performances.

The Bracknell & Wokingham Choral Societies are renowned for their dedication to the performance of high-quality choral music, and their annual concert at Guildford Cathedral attracts a diverse audience of both seasoned music enthusiasts and newcomers. This year's event was particularly special, as it featured a powerful selection of choral pieces, performed in the awe-inspiring setting of the Cathedral.

We donated coats to Berkshire charity winter warmer appeal
Staff in the housebuilder’s West London office have donated coats to First Days Children’s Charity, with representatives recently visiting to hand over their contribution to the appeal.First Days Children’s Charity aims to support and empower parents and families struggling with financial hardship throughout Berkshire by providing emotional and specialist support.
Ellie Gosling, Fundraising and Events Manager at First Days Children's Charity, said: “The generosity Taylor Wimpey has shown is very much appreciated. The donation will help to support local families and young people in need throughout Berkshire during the colder months.”

Young couple delighted with energy efficient home
Rebecca and Paul are finding life at the Willow Green development in Warfield to their liking, and took time to praise the buyer journey that they experienced with Taylor Wimpey.
The couple were pleased with the seamless sales process and were delighted with the support received in finding their new dream home.
Becca said: “Lynn and Robbie were amazing! Both Sales Advisers listened to our needs, gave us time and the space needed to come to our own decisions about what we wanted.
When speaking about the reasons for moving from Mile End in East London to Willow Green in Warfield, Becca and Paul pointed to the need for more living space, a garden and fresh air.
They also said: “We're hoping to start a family. We’d looked at existing homes but discovered so many issues, we knew a new build was for us as it meant we could move in without the worry and cost of renovations.”
Since moving to Willow Green, the couple have expressed a love for their property. They said: “The Rosedale home is perfect for us, we love it!
