Downsizing done right
Garry Sullivan (76) and his wife Rosemary (77) are all set for the next chapter of their lives at our Heatherwood Royal development in Ascot.
The couple made the move in December 2024 after selling their previous home in Windsor as part of a plan to downsize. Keen to reduce the maintenance costs that often come with a larger property, Garry and Rosemary were drawn to Heatherwood Royal for its practical layout and convenient location in Ascot.
Garry said: “We wanted a home that would be easier to look after, and the development offered exactly what we were looking for. It is also close to our two daughters, which was very important to us.”
From their very first visit, Garry and Rosemary were impressed with the thoughtful design of the development, describing it as “not over-developed” with a layout that felt spacious and practical.
Garry added: “Our expectations have definitely been met. We chose the Colton housetype because of its lovely location and the pleasant views we get from the upper floors. The site itself is also really well located for public transport and has great links to local amenities.”
The couple used our Easy Mover scheme to help sell their previous property, making their move to Heatherwood Royal smooth and stress-free. Now settled in, Garry and Rosemary are enjoying the benefits of their new low-maintenance lifestyle and looking forward to everything that Ascot has to offer.
