- The First Homes Fund is expected to be available to first-time buyers purchasing a property as their only home and cannot be used for buy to let or second home purchases.
- The scheme provides up to £10,000 as a shared equity contribution towards the purchase of a property.
- The Scottish Government will take an equity share in the property, which does not incur monthly repayments or interest.
- The equity share will normally be repaid when the property is sold, based on the market value at that time.
- Eligible properties are expected to be subject to a maximum purchase price of £300,000.
- The scheme is available on both new-build and second-hand properties, subject to eligibility criteria.
- All purchases are subject to Scottish Government approval (or its administering agent) and compliance with scheme rules once formally released.
- Full details of the application process, lender participation and final eligibility criteria have not yet been published and may be subject to change.
- Mortgage availability is subject to lender criteria and acceptance of the shared equity structure.
- Any incentives or contributions offered by Taylor Wimpey will be agreed prior to reservation, are one-off payments, deducted from the completion statement and have no cash alternative.
- Offer is subject to the purchaser confirming a full reservation on the plot being purchased.
- Reservation and exchange may be required to take place by specific dates, which may vary by plot.
- Offer may be withdrawn or amended at any time prior to payment of the reservation fee.

- Offer is subject to the purchaser's lenders criteria and may reduce the equity to mortgage ratio.
