St Bedes Primary School design welcome cards for new residents
We asked pupils at St Bede’s Primary School to design a ‘welcome to your new home’ card for our new residents at Marske Sands.The competition saw lots of enthusiastic children take part, each showcasing their artistic talents. We selected Hamish as first place, Annabelle in
second and Jessie in third place. Their designs stood out and perfectly captured the idea of the cards we had in mind.
They have all been awarded vouchers and Hamish’s winning design has been transformed into a card which will be given to residents when they move into their new homes at the development.
Elizabeth Vickers, Year 5 Teacher at St Bede’s Catholic Primary School, said: “Our pupils really enjoyed taking part in this competition and it was great to see so many of them get involved. Congratulations to Hamish for winning, and thank you to Taylor Wimpey for letting our pupils take part.”

We contributed to Marske United FC Christmas Raffle
Following the shirt sponsorship for the Marske United FC versus Leeds Legends charity match held in April, Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire has supported the team once again with a donation towards its Christmas raffle.
The annual Christmas raffle is a great way to bring the community together and spread some festive cheer. Last year saw an impressive 4,000 tickets sold.
Paul Hart, Commercial Director for Marske United FC, said: “We’re thrilled that Taylor Wimpey wished to continue their support for the club by donating a gift to our Christmas Raffle. This event is a great way to bring our community together and all celebrate.”

“Christmas is a time for bringing people together, which is why we’re delighted to support the incredible effort from the team at Marske United FC with a £50 gift voucher for the local garden centre, Longbeck Nurseries. We hope everyone has fun taking part in the raffle.”
We partnered with Power of Women
We have partnered with Power of Women (PoW) to empower young people, especially girls, across the Tees Valley and beyond.
PoW is a CIC that works with schools, communities and businesses by delivering inspirational programmes across the academic year, connecting young people with role models from a wide range of industries. These programmes aim to raise aspirations and broaden horizons of all the young attendees.
The Aim High event took place at Outwood Academy Bydales in Marske-by-the-Sea, and had 50 Year 9 female pupils attend alongside women from our various departments. Students were able to look at a variety of careers and pathways, take part in sessions that challenged stereotypes, network with professionals, and take part in a student-led Q&A during a panel session.
Nicki Hope, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, said: “We were very keen to partner with PoW and help to educate students about the different career options within Taylor Wimpey and inspire them to strive towards the career they want. We wanted to showcase real career journeys, build confidence, and highlight the amazing opportunities that young people might not otherwise see.”

We’re delighted to have shown our support to the Redcar Athletic Under 7 Reds team with an over £750 donation, allowing the team to acquire a brand-new stylish full training kit bundle for its 2024/2025 season, featuring the Taylor Wimpey logo.James Farrell, Coach for Redcar Athletic Under 7 Reds said: “We very much appreciate the sponsorship from Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire for the training kit bundle that prepares the players for all weather conditions, and keeps the sense of team running in every session. On Sunday 27th April, a team of Leeds United legends faced off against Marske United FC in a special charity match to raise funds for Headsafe Football—a charity established in memory of Middlesbrough footballer, Bill Gates.
Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire proudly sponsored Marske United FC for the event, with their logo featured on the team's shirts. Several members of the Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire team attended the match with their families, describing it as a fun-filled and memorable day out.
