The perfect place to be
Northamptonshire villages are well known for their beauty and historic stone walls and cottages; Overstone and other nearby villages definitely reflect this. The Atrium at Overstone is situated on the edge of Overstone and so benefits from both village life as well as key commuter links and newer amenities such as supermarkets. It's a great location for families to set up home due to the well regarded schools of the area as well as child friendly attractions.

This is how much we’re contributing to the local areaWelcome to the neighbourhood
The community at The Atrium, Overstone is incredibly warm and welcoming. We recently held a 'Meet the residents event' at the development which was a great success as existing residents could meet potential purchasers and find out what it's like to live here. Whether you're young first time buyers or a family wanting to settle down with your growing family, you'll fit right in with the kind neighbours - there's even a neighbourhood group chat to join!
We are coming to the end of the first phase homes so many of the streets have happy home owners moved in and enjoying what the area has to offer. Our second phase is now on sale and occupies a larger area so plenty more opportunity for meeting new people and building on the established feel.

Meet our team
The team at The Atrium at Overstone work together to make sure every aspect of the homebuying journey is as smooth as it can possibly be.
Our Sales Executives Susie & Hazera are a dynamic duo and experts in all things 'The Atrium'. Susie joined Taylor Wimpey in 2011 and has been part of The Atrium team since it opened in October 2022.
Susie said: “I joined Taylor Wimpey as I love meeting new people - the people you meet along the way is definitely a highlight for me. It’s a very interesting role. Property is also a passion of mine so that helps! My main responsibility is welcoming our new customers to the development and helping them find their perfect home - I guide them through the process until they get the keys and move in. The Atrium at Overstone has the best of both worlds for our customers - it’s a pretty place but also close to an array of amenities. I really enjoy showing customers around here.”
Stuart Smith, Assistant Site Manager said: “I joined Taylor Wimpey nine years ago and have been working at The Atrium since it opened. My main responsibilities include assisting Neil in the day-to-day running of the site and visiting specific plots with our customers to show them their new home in progress - something I really enjoy. I’m so proud to work here, the whole team is committed to providing customers with the best quality homes and service.”

Beth & Callum move just in time for baby’s arrival
After considering a renovation project, Beth (29) and Callum (31) decided to make the move into a new-build while expecting their first child.
With the decision made, Beth discovered Taylor Wimpey’s Atrium at Overstone development. Beth said: “I came to view the show homes on my own one afternoon and immediately fell in love with everything about them, as well as the wider site and a specific plot. I couldn’t wait to tell Callum all about it!
She continued: “I was instantly impressed with the Taylor Wimpey team, too. The welcome from the staff really put me at ease and I felt that they genuinely listened to everything I told them in terms of our position and requirements. The houses themselves were beautiful, with space both inside and out. Overall, the experience was spot-on from day one.
“I asked Callum to come back with me the next day to see the show home and the plot and I can safely say every time we visited we fell in love with the place over again.”

Ieuan & Angelika's Story
First time buyers Ieuan (35) and Angelika (32) are settling into their new Taylor Wimpey Trusdale home at the Atrium at Overstone with their growing family.
Angelika said: “We wanted to buy a home that we could live in for many years to come - without running out of space. Four bedrooms was a must, to accommodate not only our seven year old, but our second child, too."
Ieuan added: “The Atrium is so peaceful and everyone we have spoken to is lovely, it is a really welcoming community. We also like that there are children out playing together, which is something we hope ours can join in with soon and in the years ahead. It takes us back to our own childhood memories of playing outside.”
“We absolutely love our life in our new home and we are just so excited for our family to grow here.”

Winning design chosen for welcome cards
We invited pupils at Overstone Primary School to showcase their imaginations and illustrate what home means to them through a welcome card competition.
The project gave the pupils, aged seven to 11, the chance to get creative and create a colourful ‘welcome home’ card. Three deserving winners were selected and received vouchers for their designs.
Taking first place was Halle (Year 6), followed by Neve (Year 4) in second place and Jacob (Year 6) in third place.
We sponsor hospice fundraising colour run
We proudly served as the headline sponsor of the Northampton Colour Run, held on Sunday 8th June 2025, contributing £1,500 to support the Cynthia Spencer Hospice in Northampton. The vibrant event brought the community together to raise an impressive £20,000 for specialist palliative care services.
During the 5k run, 452 participants were covered in different coloured paint, stayed active and had fun while also raising money for the hospice so that it can continue providing specialist palliative care to people with life-limiting illnesses and those who support them across West Northamptonshire. The hospice provides this specialist care to patients in their homes, in their inpatient unit, and wellbeing centre.
Our £1,500 donation covered the cost of the venue hire. The sponsorship is part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community surrounding The Atrium, while also supporting community events and meaningful local initiatives.
Fiona Lloyd, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, said: “We are delighted to support Cynthia Spencer Hospice in continuing to provide its essential services to those in the local area who are suffering from life-limiting illnesses, as it's likely that we all know someone who requires this care or has a friend or family member who does.
“The Colour Run was a great chance to have a fun, active day out at a family-friendly event while also supporting an important cause. By coming together as a community, we helped ensure that Cynthia Spencer Hospice can continue offering comfort, dignity, and support to those who need it most.”
Sports kit sponsorship
We recently made a donation to nearby Northampton School to provide the sponsorship for their Netball kit.
The school, which is near to our Atrium at Overstone development, received a £380 donation towards new kits for the U12 Netball team who will compete against local schools with the possibility of qualifying for the national competition.
Northampton School is a co-educational, 11-16, state-funded secondary Free School which is located to the north-east of Northampton town.
Gary Burton, School Trust Director of Sport at Northampton School, said: “We are thrilled to have Taylor Wimpey sponsor our U12 netball kit. This donation has allowed the school to purchase a quality kit to allow the students to perform at their best and maintain the high standards of the school. On behalf of everyone at Northampton School we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the support of Taylor Wimpey.”

Local investment
A home is more than just a house, it’s also about the community that surrounds it. And that’s why we invest in building communities that support local businesses, improve facilities in the area and help bring people together.
Over the coming years we will be contributing around £4.4m.
