Ripon resident finds dream home
After fifteen years in Ripon, Elizabeth Tyler was ready for a new chapter - one that allowed her to remain in the city she loves. Her search led her to Taylor Wimpey's excellently located development, Fountains Walk, on the outskirts of Ripon.
Elizabeth said: "I moved into my new home on 26th September and it has exceeded my expectations. I knew Taylor Wimpey was a five-star housebuilder with a really good reputation, and they've absolutely delivered on that."
The buying process with Taylor Wimpey proved to be straightforward and supportive. "The buying process was really easy," she explained. "Jess, the sales executive, was really friendly and helped me every step of the way, which made the whole experience stress-free."
The development's location was perfect for her lifestyle and family needs. Elizabeth said: "The reason I love this development is that it's right on the edge of the countryside," she shared. "You're not too far from Fountains Abbey, and it's also a handy location for Ripon Grammar School. I've lived in Ripon for fifteen years, and I wanted to stay because it's such a great little city."
Now settled in, she’s particularly impressed with the home's energy efficiency and modern features. "The energy efficiency benefits have been incredible," she said. "It's a really lovely warm home - we've not had to turn the heating on yet. I also have an electric car, so the vehicle charging point on our driveway has been extremely useful."
Looking back on her decision, Elizabeth has no hesitation in recommending Taylor Wimpey. "I would absolutely recommend Taylor Wimpey to others without a shadow of a doubt," she concluded. "It's an excellent product, with excellent people, and it's a great place to call home."

Supporting local charity Ohana
Residents from in and around Ripon were invited to nominate local, worthy recipients for a £1,000 prize, and after considering all entries, we proudly selected local charity, Ohana.
After starting in 2015 with a small group of Ripon parent carers, Ohana is now dedicated to providing compassionate support to families and caregivers as they tackle the unique challenges and joys of raising children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities.
Danielle Hamilton, Project Manager at Ohana, said: “We aim to build a strong, inclusive
community where no family feels alone and believe that every child deserves a chance to reach their full potential, and every family deserves access to the support needed to help their child thrive. We are thankful for this generous donation from Taylor Wimpey, which will strengthen our ability to offer vital support to more families in the Ripon area and make
a significant difference.”Book an appointment
