Whether it’s a charity that relies on donations to continue its vital work, or a community group making a real difference to local people, we hope our £1,000 donation will help support their important work.

All nominations must be received by 31st July 2026. We will then select one local organisation or group to receive the £1,000 donation and contact the winner by the end of August 2026.

Bella Waller, 37, and her toy poodle cross, Mr Pickles, have found their dream home at Oakapple Place in Barming, Kent.
In search of a quieter neighbourhood, and an easier commute, Oakapple Place was the perfect location for Bella. She said: "As I work in Barming, I had been looking at several new developments in the area but nothing offered everything I was looking for. When I came across Oakapple Place I was instantly drawn to the area's peacefulness and knew it was where I wanted to live.”
Bella fell in love with the four bedroom Trusdale house type. With a garage and utility room, it ticked off everything on her wish list. Bella said: "I love the large living area and open plan kitchen diner; it’s perfect for hosting as I can prepare a meal while socialising with family and friends. Having a separate utility room is a real luxury too and it’s great for extra storage.
“The self-contained main bedroom and en-suite is my favourite space, perfect to relax and unwind. One of my best decisions has been to convert the spare room into a gym as I can now conveniently fit in my workouts within the comfort of my home.”
Navigating the buying process was a breeze for Bella, thanks to the guidance and support provided by the sales team. Bella said: “The process of buying with Taylor Wimpey was easy.
