Supporting the local community
In January 2024, we have once again shown our support for local school community football in Gilmerton by providing additional football strips for the Primary 6 and 7 boys and girls football teams at Gilmerton Primary School.
In July 2023, We went back to school to give the children of Gilmerton Primary in Edinburgh some reminders about health and safety. As construction of our new homes continues at nearby at Farrier Fields in Gilmerton, we were keen to promote the dangers associated with playing near any construction site. This visit gave us an opportunity to raise awareness of the children’s need to be extra vigilant as our construction work progresses.
As part of our health and safety talk to Gilmerton Primary, we set the children a challenge to design a health and safety poster that would remind the local community of the dangers associated with playing near any construction site. This has since been created into a banner for the development with the winner and runner ups designs.
