Site plan
As part of the planning consent for this development, a number of new homes may have been designated as affordable housing. Where applicable, these properties will remain as affordable housing tenure and are specifically shown to make it clear that they are not available for general sale. The remaining homes on the development are available for open market sale, including “bulk sales” (meaning the sale of more than one home to a single purchaser) to purchasers, who could be private individuals or another type of purchaser (for example local authorities, housing associations or other commercial landlords), and therefore the mix of tenures on a development may change.
The perfect place to be
Situated in the historical and popular city of St Albans, Rose Meadows is an exclusive development nestled between the M1, A1 and M25. The St Albans' lifestyle is a rich and rewarding one. From its bustling city centre of big brand stores to its markets and historical past, it’s a city with so much to offer. Commuters can also enjoy rail links from St Albans City station, to St Pancras and Blackfriars which can be reached in 30 minutes.

We give a ‘thank you’ to healthcare staff this International Nurses’ Day
For International Nurses’ Day 2026, we extended our gratitude to healthcare professionals at St Albans City Hospital by delivering cupcakes to nurses and staff to say thank you for their hard work and dedication.Taking place every year on 12th May, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, International Nurses’ Day celebrates and raises awareness of the work nurses do around the world.
Our donation is part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities that surround our developments.
Alison Rosen, CEO of West Herts Hospitals Charity, the official charity for West Herts Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, said: "We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their kind gesture in providing cupcakes for our nursing staff to celebrate International Nurses’ Day. Our nurses work with such dedication and compassion every single day, and a gesture like this is a wonderful way to say thank you and let them know how much the local community appreciates everything they do."
Nikki Gibson, Sales & Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey North Thames, says: “We’re proud to celebrate the work nurses do around the world this International Nurses’ Day and hope the hospital staff enjoyed their treats.
“Nurses are essential to our health service yet often undervalued, and awareness days such as these remind us just where we would be without their dedication. Delivering these treats and also offering our Key Worker Discount Scheme is our way of saying thank you to all the nurses and medical staff who tirelessly care for our communities.”
