Milton Keynes care home welcomes plant donation

Our South Midlands team has donated a range of beautiful plants, shrubs and trees to The Lindens Residential Care Home in Milton Keynes.

We support local care home

The plants, which are from our Vale View at Willow Lake development in Newton Leys, needed to be relocated as the land was due to be built on. We wanted to give the plants a new home at the nearby Lindens Residential Care Home, to help lift the spirits of its residents and encourage them to get outside.

Michael Hannelly, Director at The Lindens Residential Care Home, said “It was so lovely to receive this wonderful array of flowers and plants from Taylor Wimpey and we are very grateful that they thought of us - these plants will give our grounds a real boost! The health and wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors are invaluable, so this donation is greatly appreciated by all of us here at The Lindens.”

Fiona Lloyd, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, said: “We are delighted to have supplied The Lindens Residential Care Home with a range of plants for their gardens. We recognise how beneficial gardening and spending time outdoors is to people’s physical and mental wellbeing, so we hope the residents and their loved ones will enjoy these new plants for years to come.”
