Communities

Sheffield United Community Foundation, located just a short distance from our Connect @ Halfway development, was set up for the benefit of girls in the local community, to get them active and enjoying sport. The cash boost has helped cover the cost of brand-new kit for the U12 squad, ensuring they look their very best during matches.

Ross Clarkson, Sales Director at Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, says: “We’re thrilled to be able to provide the U12 team with a brand-new kit which will hopefully be a lucky one. It’s been a hard period for non-profit organisations and we’re more than happy to help.”

Newly built homes

Joanne Lumley, Team Administrator at Sheffield United Community Foundation Ladies and Girls Football Club comments: “We received a generous donation towards our new kits, as the girls are growing so fast, our old kit needed replacing!

“We are so grateful to Taylor Wimpey for the donation, to allow us to purchase a new home kit for the girls to use in the 21-22 season for all of their matches. We have been able to purchase a full set of shirts, shorts and socks for each of the girls on the U12 white team and they look amazing!”
