Commenting on the children’s participation in the competition, Juliette Benton, Headteacher at Belgrave Primary School, said: “The staff and pupils at our school take great pride in being a part of the vibrant local community in Chester. We were all delighted to be chosen to enter Taylor Wimpey’s card competition and have the opportunity to welcome our new neighbours to their new homes. We have a large number of creative students who all worked incredibly hard on their entries and we’re very proud of everyone who participated in the competition!”

Jennifer Burns, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey North West, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all the pupils at Belgrave Primary School who got involved with our ‘Welcome Home’ card design competition. All the entries were fantastic and we saw lots of really inspiring designs to help make the new residents at Kings Moat Garden Village feel right at home. Picking a winner was by no means easy but, in the end, we decided that Annabelle’s design would act as the perfect greeting. Well done to everyone and keep up the creativity!”
