Supporting our communities

For 30 years, Herriot Hospice Homecare has provided free, personalised care to enable people to live comfortably and with dignity in their homes during the last moments of their lives.

As part of our ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities, the North Yorkshire team wanted to show their appreciation for Herriot Hospice Homecare with this donation.

Herriot Hospice Homecare Chief Executive Tony Collins said: “Without the generosity of our community and donations like this, our care would not be possible. We’re thankful to Taylor Wimpey for their fantastic support.

“Herriot Hospice Homecare is a family of services and support for those living with terminal illnesses and bereavement across the Hambleton and Richmondshire districts of North Yorkshire, and this generous donation will support us to continue our work and make a difference in our community.”

Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire Sales and Marketing Director Lauren Angus, said: “We are proud to be able to show our gratitude for organisations such as Herriot Hospice Homecare who work tirelessly to support those who need it most in our local community.

“Their dedication to helping others is what we aim to imitate as we open our new development Beaumont Gate in Bedale, as we hope to continue engaging with other community groups in 2022.”
