We support Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration in Sellindge

Our South East team has donated £250 to the 1st Sellindge Scout Group, Rainbows and Brownies to help them celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee

The 1st Sellindge Scout Group, Rainbows and Brownies hosted a special tea at Sellindge Village Hall on Saturday 28th May to mark Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years as monarch and our donation helped to fund equipment and supplies for the event.

Jason Stokes, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South East, said: “We’re committed to supporting our local communities and we were delighted to help the 1st Sellindge Scout Group with their celebrations. We hope that everyone had a fantastic time and made some great memories.” 

Maureen Stanley, Group Scout Leader at 1st Sellindge Scout Group said: “We were very keen to make this event a memorable occasion and the donation from Taylor Wimpey certainly helped us to do just that. It was brilliant to see so many people come together to celebrate this historic milestone. Everyone really enjoyed our celebratory tea and we’d like to say a huge thank you to Taylor Wimpey for their support.”
