Supporting our communities
At the science, technology, engineering and maths focused day (STEM), which was held at Wellington College in Crowthorne, we delivered interactive sessions to over 80 pupils from a number of state secondary schools in the region on the work that goes into being a successful housebuilder.
This included insight into acquiring land ahead of delivering a housing development and the number of different roles within the business, as well as a sustainability-focused talk covering our commitment to energy efficiency as it looks to the future.
Students were also challenged to show their keen eye for construction by building weight-bearing towers out of straw and tape.
