Supporting our communities
The Rainhill Beer Festival is run by Rainhill Rotary Club, a part of the Worldwide Rotary movement, to
create hope in the world by working for peace and
mental wellbeing. They meet on a regular basis to
enjoy fellowship and to plan projects that will benefit
local communities. Rainhill Rotary funds are raised to support good causes and charities including young people, veterans, sports teams, community groups etc.
The 19th annual Beer Festival was the most successful event to-date and raised over £30,000 this year for charity.
We were happy to donate £500 to the cause as we are building a number of developments around Prescot, including Orchard Park, Fox Wood Garden Village, Sherdley Green and Anderton Green.

Gordon Lowe, Beer Festival Committee Chair said: “We are grateful to Taylor Wimpey for raising our spirits with their generous support as this helped our beer festival to flow smoothly, creating a lively atmosphere that brought the community together in celebration."
