St Mary’s Church currently serves as a staple in the commuting, supporting various local charities such as the Aylesbury Food Bank, the annual Free Christmas Lunch for those in need, the Aylesbury Homeless Action Group and the mental health organisation SPACE.
Kenton Brigden, Director of Music at St Mary’s Church, said: “On behalf of St Mary’s, we extend our heartfelt thanks for Taylor Wimpey’s generous charitable donation of £500. Its contribution is invaluable and will play a crucial role in our ongoing building restoration efforts. Currently housed in the church, SPACE resides in one of the oldest parts of the building which urgently requires repairs. It is only through charitable donations like Taylor Wimpey’s that these works can take place.
“Taylor Wimpey’s dedication to this cause not only supports the daily needs of the Aylesbury community but also safeguards the historical significance of this building. This collective effort ensures that St Mary's remains a community asset for generations to come. Together, we are making a lasting impact on the present and future of our community – hopefully for another 800 years.”
