Supporting our community at Christmas
The festive appeal, which runs until Friday 15th December, is seeking donations of long-life food products, such as tinned food and dried pasta, or monetary support to help people in need over Christmas.
Ian Townsend-Blazier, Head of Development at the Family Food Bank and FareShare Kent, said: “Our Christmas Cracker Appeal comes at a time when people need support the most. With the rising cost of living, winter fuel bills and pressure to buy presents, many people find Christmas a very challenging time. We are very grateful for all donations to our appeal and would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their continued support.”
Jason Stokes, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey South East, said: “The Family Food Bank does fantastic work supporting people in the local community and we were pleased to support their Christmas appeal. We know that this time of year can be difficult and hope that our donation goes some way towards helping to provide food for people in need over the festive period.”
Based in Ashford, the Family Food Bank was set up in 2012 to help families and individuals across Kent & Medway facing financial hardship. To find out more the Christmas Cracker Appeal 2023, visit the website here.
