We challenged pupils to put their creative skills to the test and design a flag, with the winner having their design come to life and installed at the site. The winner, Molly, 10, also received a £50 voucher as a prize.

Fiona Lynn, Headteacher at Ryhope Junior School, said: “We want to thank Taylor Wimpey for asking us to be a part of this fantastic competition. Everyone is so proud of Molly, we all had a great time taking part and we are thrilled to see Molly’s design on display.”

“We are committed to supporting the communities in which we build, it is so important to cultivate and nurture our communities, as well as finding new and exciting ways to collaborate with the local area.
