Supporting our communities
The tournament took place on Sunday 7th May and was organised by the Aldwinians Ladies & Girls Rugby Union Football Club to celebrate women in rugby from the North West. The sponsorship helped fund the trophy used in the event which was named ‘The Taylor Wimpey Cup.’
The tournament consisted of two leagues, a play-off and a final. The competing teams included Huddersfield Laund Hill RUFC, Sedgley Park Ladies Team, Wirral RUFC Ladies, Liverpool Collegiate Ladies RUFC, Aldwinians Ladies, Barbarians XV, Rochdale Rugby Union Football Club - rrufc Ladies, and University of Manchester Womens Rugby Club.
