We support Whiteley Coronation event

We have recently donated towards the Whiteley Coronation Picnic event which took place at Meadowside Recreation Ground, located close to our development in Whiteley, Woodlands Chase

Supporting our communities

The Coronation Picnic celebration, which was organised by Whiteley Town Council, took place on Sunday 7th May and was a success with over 500 people in attendance. 

Visitors were able to enjoy the free children’s activities, face painting and circus skills workshops as well as performances by a stilt walker entertainer and fire eating display. A Coronation cake was provided by Whiteley Rotary and a fun fair was also available at the event with dodgems, roundabouts and inflatables.

Nicki Oliver, Clerk at Whiteley Town Council, said: “I would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their generous £250 donation to our Coronation Picnic event. We were able to put the contribution towards purchasing portable PA systems for music and announcements which we can also use for future events!”
