We help Burnham-on-Crouch throw a party fit for a King

We helped the Burnham-on-Crouch community in Essex celebrate the Coronation of King Charles II earlier this month

St Mary’s Church, close to our Emberton Grange development, held The Big Burnham Coronation Celebration on Monday 8th May.

As well as being a chance for Burnham to get together and celebrate, the event was an opportunity for the voluntary organisations in the Dengie to recruit new helpers as part of the Big Help Out, launched by the Palace to acknowledge the Coronation of his Majesty King Charles III.

We helped the church to spread the word about the event by funding a leaflet that was sent to residents around the town. We also joined in the celebrations at Emberton Grange by decorating the sales office with flags and bunting.

This was our latest royal engagement in Burnham-on-Crouch, having previously sponsored a picnic for the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022

Michael O’Leary, Regional Operations Director at Taylor Wimpey London, said: “Community is so important in places like Burnham-on-Crouch and we were thrilled to be able to support another get together on such a historic occasion.”
