Helping to empower girls
The 1st Marford Guides unit has been running for more than 30 years and aims to empower local girls aged 10-14 through a range of indoor and outdoor activities.
Their team leader was keen for the guides to have matching hoodies and T-shirts and approached us for help. We donated £300 to ensure that the group of 25 Guides and their leader had custom outfits, helping make their trip memorable.
Sarah Happs, 1st Marford Guides leader, expressed her gratitude for the support they received from Taylor Wimpey and said: "The trip to London was a special one for the Guides as they got to explore the city and make new memories together. We are grateful for Taylor Wimpey’s donation as the customised T-shirts and hoodies made the trip extra memorable."
