We give boost to Romsey baby bank

We have donated £300 to Baby Necessities, a baby bank in Romsey which provides new and pre-loved essential items to families in need.

Supporting our communities

The charity aims to alleviate child poverty while promoting recycling second-hand items to protect the environment by collecting donations of pre-loved clothes, toys and equipment and redistributing them to families across Southampton, Test Valley and the surrounding areas. 

Baby Necessities, local to our Broadleaf Park development in Rownhams, delivers these essential supplies for free to children from all backgrounds up to the age of five-years-old. Our donation will go towards 20 family toiletry bundles.

Hayleigh Jarvis, Operations Manager at Baby Necessities, said: “We are receiving more and more referrals directly linked to the cost-of-living crisis, for basic essentials such as toiletries, nappies and formula. We are very grateful for this donation which will enable us to purchase toiletries tailored to the whole family.”
