We Support the Harwell Feast for Fourth Year Running

We are proud to have continued our support for Harwell's annual Harwell Feast this year with a contribution of £500.

Supporting community events

Taking place on the 27th May, this year's Harwell Feast took place in the recreation ground of the village, starting with a parade of vintage tractors towing floats created by local organisations, classic cars, musicians and living history groups.

Designed to be a fun day out for everyone, both young and old alike, the event then continued throughout the day with food stalls, crafts, a children's adventure area, a teen zone, re-enactment groups, steam and traction engines, ferret racing, the very popular fun dog show, falcons, and Punch & Judy.

Roz Wells, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, said: "We are delighted to support the Harwell Feast again this year to continue our ongoing support of the community surrounding our upcoming Valley Park development in Harwell. As well as providing locals with an exciting day out for all, fundraising events such as these are vital for ensuring the prosperity of village organisations. We are proud to play a part in supporting such a worthy cause for the fourth year in a row."

Our donation was put towards a performance by the Ulfhrafnar Vikings re-enactment group and is part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities in which we build.
