Couple find their perfect home at our Cheddar development

John and Anna-Marie Fennell have found their perfect home at our Oak Park development in Cheddar.

A perfect home

John, 61, and Anna-Marie, 60, decided the time was right to move from their previous home, a large Georgian house in Churchill, North Somerset, to the four-bedroom Trusdale style home at Oak Park on the outskirts of the historic village, Cheddar. 

Anna-Marie said: “When we first decided to move, we hadn’t really considered a new build, but then we saw a house that we liked that was a new build and this encouraged us to broaden our search, which led us to Taylor Wimpey and Oak Park.”

The couple opted for the four-bedroom Trusdale home thanks to its spacious design and layout and location. 

“We wanted to downsize, but still make sure we have enough space for when our family visits”, said Anna-Marie. “On our first visit to Oak Park, we were able to take a look around the show home at the development, which is a Trusdale home and we were impressed with what we saw. The kitchen area as well as the large lounge were exactly what we wanted, and the detached garage was an added bonus.” 

When choosing their home and plot at Oak Park, the Taylor Wimpey sales team were on hand to help Anna-Marie and John through the process: “The sales team were incredibly helpful and reassuring during the build process, answering all of the questions we had.”
 
The couple added, “Taylor Wimpey’s customer service has been excellent during the purchase of our home and since we’ve moved in, which has added to our sense of satisfaction with the entire process”.
