Warfield school pupils design flag for our new development

Pupils from Warfield have helped to design a welcome flag that now takes pride of place at the entrance to our Willow Green development.

Flying the flag high

Our West London team challenged children at the nearby Warfield Primary School to come up with a vibrant and imaginative flag that represents the village of Warfield.

A diverse number of entries were submitted, with nine-year-old Amber-Reeva selected as the winner for her creative ‘I love Warfield’ design and eight-year-old Ella coming second for her colourful submission.

Both pupils were recently invited to our Willow Green development to be presented with their winning voucher prizes and have their photo taken with the new flag flying high.

Mrs Kennedy, Headteacher at Warfield Primary School, said: “The fun flag design competition was a brilliant opportunity for our pupils to showcase their developing creative skills and we couldn’t be prouder of Amber-Reeva and Ella for their winning designs. We’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for thinking of us when setting up the competition.”

Gemma Bibby, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey West London said: “At Taylor Wimpey, we believe in nurturing the creative potential of our youth and fostering strong community ties. The flag design competition run in tandem with Warfield Primary School was a testament to these values, and we were delighted to witness first hand the talent on display from all of the pupils.

“It was lovely to invite both Amber-Reeva and Ella to come to the development, meet the team and see the new flag flying high. We’d like to thank Warfield Primary School for taking part, and for creating such a thoughtful and innovative flag for us.”
