We Help to Spread Community Spirit in Sawbridgeworth

For over 600 years the Sawbridgeworth May Fayre has been bringing the local community together and as part of our ongoing commitment to support the local communities in which we build, we have donated £250 towards the running costs.

The fayre, which was held on Sunday 5th May, was a great success and raised over £15,000. This was only made possible from support from many charities including Sawbridgeworth Memorial Hall, the local Cricket Club, five school PTA’s and many more. The money will be re-invested into local projects such as the Memorial Hall’s building expansion.

There was plenty on offer at the fair, with visitors enjoying live music, fair game favourites such as hoopla and hook-a-duck, funfair rides, tombola, craft stalls, donkey rides, food and drink stalls and so much more.

Paresh Pandya, Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey North Thames, said: "We are delighted to have supported the Sawbridgeworth May Fayre this year. Supporting the local community, schools and surrounding businesses close to our Tudor Park development is extremely important to us and we were pleased to hear that the fayre was such a success."
