Upsizing Southampton family find dream Rownhams home

Craig and Emma Evans, along with three-year-old son Henry, recently completed a dream move to Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties development, Broadleaf Park in Rownhams.

Upsizing to a new 3 bed home

Upsizing from their two-bedroom mid-terrace to a three-bedroom detached Taylor Wimpey Yewdale property, the family had to navigate the challenges of moving house during the pandemic but experienced a smooth move.

Both from the Southampton area with family in Rownhams, Totton, Romsey and Lordshill, Broadleaf Park appealed to the couple because of its location and the fact it is situated just a short drive from Romsey where they were married. After careful consideration, the design and size of the Yewdale sealed the deal and prompted the couple to make the move.

The development itself is ideally located, the property is the perfect balance of price and size. What is different about this site is that we expect allotments and an Orchard to be built, which is unlike the other developments.”

Craig adds: “As people with fairly high attention to detail, the sales team initially answered every single one of the multiple questions we had. The human touch throughout the purchase process was kind, professional and attentive. The sales team stayed around until 5pm to give us the keys on completion day (yes it was that late).”
