    From the A47 southern bypass:

    “We were previously living in a coach house in Norwich, which was lovely but we’d hung on to it for long enough and we were getting a bit squashed so we needed to move.

    “We’re the type of people who like period properties with high ceilings and nice beams, but when it comes to the crunch we actually like living in a clean, new place with square walls!

    “We looked around endlessly for something suitable that we could fall in love with. We knew houses were being built in Costessey so we popped into the sales office and there was just one four-bed left on this phase, the ‘Thornford’, so we were really lucky.

    “We went for spotlights in the kitchen and also asked for a shower over the bath and for a door to be put on the back of the garage, giving easier access to the garden.

    “The spotlights are lovely, I’m so pleased with them and they make a huge difference. I seem to spend about 95% of my time in the kitchen – it’s a dream and absolutely huge with endless cupboards so nothing’s stacked up on the surfaces and everything has its place. We love entertaining as a family with our daughters Maisie and Elsie and this kitchen allows us to do it, we could never have done that in our old place.

    “We’re really happy with the development. When reserving off-plan you never quite know how it’s going to pan out, but our immediate neighbourhood is lovely so we’re very pleased with it. The houses are well spaced out, we’ve all got great big driveways and loads of space out the front, while none of the houses are overlooking each other.

    “The easymover scheme was so easy. Taylor Wimpey sent three agents round really quickly, and the first viewer from the chosen agent purchased it, so it was great!

    “The Taylor Wimpey staff were fantastic throughout the process, we can’t praise them enough. There was actually a problem with some paperwork with selling the coach house. The developer which had built that didn’t send through some documents we needed, which delayed the purchase for months, but Taylor Wimpey were so patient and stuck with us. “We’re really grateful they did because we love living here and can’t believe how lucky we are.

    “Donald works on the outskirts of Norwich, only six miles away, so that’s handy as well. We’re also closer to Maisie’s school now than we were before, and we’re a stone’s throw from Longwater Retail Park so it feels like we have everything we need close by.”
