Growing family upsize to their dream home at Chester Meadows
Liam Bell, a Senior Concrete Technician, and his partner, Sarah Donoghue, decided it was time to upsize to their dream family home after the birth of their daughter, Evelyn-Rose.
Liam said: “Chester Meadows has an overall nice feel to it. Taylor Wimpey also care for the environment as the development has green open spaces, bird boxes, hedgehog friendly fencing and trees have also been planted around the area.
“We chose the Byrneham house type as it’s spacious and you get the added bonus of a smaller, extra room upstairs that can have multiple uses".
“Our favourite thing about our new home is the views; everyone who has visited us has commented on how lucky we are with the position of our plot. On top of this, the overall interior and layout of the house is great and the rooms are fabulous.”

Couple find their dream home in Pelton Fell
Andrew and Laura, seasoned homeowners from North Durham, embarked on a new chapter at our Chester Grange development.
After years of moving, they found their perfect forever home just a couple of miles from Pelton Fell, and it was love at first sight.
"We wanted to look at a Taylor Wimpey site even though we had only moved 18 months previously. After looking at the Haddenham showhome at Chester Grange, we both agreed that what was on offer was worth investigating further." they shared. Their decision to explore Chester Grange was driven by the allure of a thoughtfully designed new build, and the couple were clear-they would never return to older homes.
The process of purchasing their new home was seamless, thanks to the part exchange scheme offered by Taylor Wimpey. "Buying our Taylor Wimpey home was a lot of fun. We asked to do part exchange which made buying and selling so easy and stress-free," said Andrew and Laura. They were able to trade in their old property as part of the deal, which eliminated the usual hassles of finding a buyer, negotiating prices, and aligning the sale with the purchase of their new home.
They praised Karen and Sharon, the sales representatives who guided them through the process with knowledge, practicality, and a friendly demeanour. "Karen and Sharon were amazing throughout the entire journey," they said. "From the first moment we expressed interest, they were there to answer all our questions and provide us with detailed information about the part exchange scheme. They made the paperwork and legal aspects feel straightforward and manageable, which was a huge relief for us."
After eight months, their excitement and appreciation for their new home remain undiminished. "We continue to marvel at how fortunate we have been to move onto the development and into our dream home," they said.
Andrew and Laura's experience at Chester Grange has been overwhelmingly positive. "Living at Chester Grange in the Taylor Wimpey Haddenham home is a dream come true. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. We love our new home and are so happy that we decided to visit Chester Grange to see what was on offer. It has been the best decision," they concluded.

Supporting the local community
Donation to Little Comets Nursery
£500 donation to Little Comets Nursery, a newly launched nursery for children aged three to four in the Chester-le-Street area. The £500 donation went towards carpet and furniture for the nursery's 'home corner', and is just one of the ways we are supporting the local community surrounding our Chester Meadows development. Little Comets Nursery is an early years facility located at Cestria Primary School in Chester-le-Street, which hosted an open morning in May 2025 and will officially open in September 2025.
Flower Donation to the Brockwell Centre
We donated a colourful collection of flowers from our Chester Grange sales office to the Brockwell Centre in Chester-Le-Street. The Brockwell Centre is a community building in Pelton Fell, where individuals and groups can come together and enjoy the range of facilities including, a children’s play area, health and fitness and social club. Now, the centre is surrounded by a bunch of blooming flowers to enhance its entrance.
