Our approved development includes 262 high quality new homes, in a range of 2, 3 & 4 bedrooms, to meet the local needs in the Formby area.
The development is located off Brackenway in Formby, Merseyside and boarders onto the Lancashire Wildlife Trusts Freshfield Dune Heath Reserve, a local wildlife reserve. Through an extension of the local nature reserve to the north of the development, Taylor Wimpey will deliver approximately 36 areas of open space, including grassland and balancing ponds. In addition, a number of improved facilities are included, comprising of a local play area, pedestrian and cycle connection and upgrades to the Formby bridleway.
Taylor Wimpey was granted Reserved Matters Planning Permission for 262 new homes in February 2023, following Outline Permission being granted by Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council in December 2021. The planned development is in accordance with local policy will be 2 storey and built in a combination of mews, semi-detached and detached styles.
