Hear from our customers
Sarah Linnette, 46, and her teenage daughter have found their dream home in the spacious three bedroom Braxton at Buckton Fields.Seeking a fresh start, Sarah made the exciting decision to downsize from her previous home in Brixworth. She said: “My old house was getting a little run down and was too big for our needs, so we began our search for a new build that would have everything taken care of. The prospect of reduced energy bills in a more efficient home was a bonus too.
The decision to settle in the Braxton house type was an easy one; its compact yet spacious and the design perfectly aligned with their needs. Sarah added: “We opted for the Braxton, which exceeded all our expectations despite being a downsize for us; the three-storey layout felt incredibly spacious and offered us great flexibile living.
“The open plan kitchen diner which leads onto the garden is the perfect social space for everyday life, as well as gatherings with friends and family. We love having a separate lounge which offers a cosy retreat.
“My favourite part of the home is the main bedroom with an ensuite; it feels like a real luxury to have the whole floor to myself with beautiful views. The additional bedrooms and bathroom cater perfectly to my daughter’s needs and allow her to have her own space too. To top it off, parking is never a hassle - a huge plus for us.”
Sarah found the process of buying with Taylor Wimpey a breeze. Sarah commented: “From start to finish, everything was handled smoothly, and I was kept informed every step of the way making the journey smooth and stress-free.”
Now settled into Buckton Fields, Sarah reflects on her experience. "I couldn't be happier with our decision to move to Buckton Fields. The location, the views, the home itself—it's everything we could have hoped for and more.”
Supporting the local community
Kingsthorpe Jets Youth Football Club has been awarded £500 from Taylor Wimpey East Midlands after being announced as the winner of the homebuilder’s Community Chest competition.
Residents living in Northampton and the surrounding local area were invited to nominate local good causes. Once all of the entries were considered, Taylor Wimpey awarded Kingsthorpe Jets with the top prize.
Nick Hart, Chairman at Kingsthorpe Jets YFC, said: “It’s amazing to be awarded with this fantastic prize and to be nominated by the local community makes it extra special. Working with the community is close to our hearts and an integral part of what we do here at the Jets. As a non-profit organisation, entirely run by volunteers, receiving such a generous amount of money goes a long way. We will use the funds to purchase new kit and equipment for our teams and to support the club development programme. I’d like to Thank Taylor Wimpey for running these competitions and the great work they do in the community. I’d also like to thank all the people who nominated our club for the award.”
