Planning permission has been granted for Taylor Wimpey to build 160 high-quality new homes in a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes on Tabley Lane, Preston.
This development will form part of a consortium site with Bloor homes for 320 homes.
This site is part of the North West Preston Strategic location, which is identified in the Central Lancashire Core Strategy focus for growth and investment. The Strategic location is allocated for a residential led mixed-use development, which will eventually provide around 5,300 homes.
The proposed scheme will include large areas of publicly accessible space, including a green link to the proposed metropolitan parks, pedestrian and cycle locations and a central village green to incorporate a local equipped area of play.

Planning permission granted - October 2024
Construction of the first homes are planned to start in early 2026.
Taylor Wimpey plan to start selling homes from Summer 2026, with the first residents moving into their new homes towards the end of 2026.
