Learn about plans for an exciting new community in Preston
We have plans to provide 156 high-quality new homes in a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes on Tabley Lane, Preston.
This development will form part of a consortium site with Bloor homes for 319 homes.
This site is part of the North West Preston Strategic location, which is identified in the Central Lancashire Core Strategy focus for growth and investment. The Strategic location is allocated for a residential led mixed-use development, which will eventually provide around 5,300 homes.
The proposed scheme will include large areas of publicly accessible space, including a green link to the proposed metropolitan parks, pedestrian and cycle locations and a central village green to incorporate a local equipped area of play.
We're committed to building greener, healthier homes for us all. From energy efficient fixtures and fittings, to cutting carbon emissions and enhancing open green spaces, we build sustainability into everything we do.
In accordance with Taylor Wimpey's Sustainability policy, bat and bird boxes will be fitted throughout the site, along with the retention of existing ponds, the planting of new native trees and hedgerows and species rich wildflower grassland.

Community CommunityWe believe it's our responsibility to support our communities, so that people are proud to call them home. That's why we regularly donate time and money to local causes and are passionate about investing in the area we build.
Taylor Wimpey is obliged to pay the community infrastructure levy and we are offering a contribution towards the new Preston West Distributor Road.
Further to this, the proposed scheme will include, a village green with play equipment, the addition of pedestrian and cycle connections throughout the site and ecological enhancements.
