Our Exeter team challenged pupils at St Bartholomew's First School to help them pick the perfect name for the development coming soon in Station Road.
Year 5 pupil Eleanor inspired the sales team to choose the name Wool Gardens by highlighting Crewkerne’s rich history in sheep farming and wool production. As a thank you for her contribution to the new development, we presented Eleanor with a £20 book voucher and her class with a further £50 voucher.
Richard Plant, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Exeter, said: “We always want to look at new and exciting ways we can come up with development names, and involving local schools in this process is a great way of doing that.
“Wool Gardens seemed like the perfect name for our new development opening soon in Crewkerne and we’re extremely grateful to Eleanor for inspiring it. We hope she will be able to look upon this development proudly once it opens later this year, knowing that she helped contribute to a new bit of history for the local area.”
