Learn about our plans for an exciting new community in Crewkerne
We have received detailed planning permission for our first phase of 110 homes of our new community in Crewkerne.
Our proposal includes a range of 1 bedroom apartments and 2, 3 and 4 bed homes, which will be perfect for young couples and growing families. The homes have all been thoughtfully designed to be in keeping with the local area and there will also be 17 affordable homes for local people.
The overall site will provide up to 635 homes, a new road from Yeovil Road to Station road, a care home, 2 hectares of employment land, a new local centre and significant green open space.
Since the approval of the planning application the County Council approved plans to change the system of education in Crewkerne from a three tier system to a two tier system. From September 2022, there will be three primary schools serving the town and a secondary school. TW will provide education funding, which has been agreed in an existing legal agreement to finance school capacity increases to support the development.
