A young resident has officially named the new park at Wool Gardens in Crewkerne, after winning a naming and sign design competition run by us.The competition was held to celebrate the completion of the Wool Gardens development, which neighbours Centurion Rise and has brought 110 new homes to the town.
Local youngster Alfie's winning entry - Oak Tree Park - was chosen, and the name will now be proudly displayed as part of the development for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Emma Smith, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Exeter, said: “We’re delighted to have involved the local community in naming the new park at Wool Gardens, and we’d like to say a big congratulations to Alfie for his fantastic winning idea. Creating spaces where people can come together is a key part of what we do, and we hope this park will be enjoyed by residents for many years to come.”
