Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, the overall winner in the large category for his work at Castle Gate in Maidenhill, East Renfrewshire, at a ceremony in London on Friday, 24 January 2025.

This is the first time a Site Manager for Taylor Wimpey in Scotland has won the Supreme Award in the large category, and it is also the first time this category winner has been in Scotland for 25 years, with the last award made in 1999. Pride in the Job

Pride in the Job has become the benchmark for exceptional site managers. It has completed its 44th year and is widely considered the ‘Oscars’ of the house-building industry. Judging is rigorous, with assessment across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety.

At the end of last year, a series of regional events took place throughout the UK to announce the Regional and Seal of Excellence Award winners and to celebrate the achievements of the Quality Award recipients. David was crowned the Scottish Regional winner in the large category, qualifying him to participate in the competition's final stage at the Supreme Awards in London.
