Over the coming years we'll be contributing...
We donate 528 winter essentials to homeless people in Coventry
As part of our Wrap Up Warm campaign, we donated over 14,000 much needed winter essentials to 24 homelessness centres in England, Scotland and Wales in support of its national charity partners - CRASH, St Mungo’s and CRISIS.
We donated 528 socks, gloves, scarves and hats to homelessness charity, Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire.
Tony Bivens, Support Manager at Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire, said: “Although Christmas is a happy time for many, it can also highlight the real struggles some people face. We are grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their efforts in donating warm clothing to those who have experienced homelessness. Their contribution will make a real difference to people in need.”
Matthew Kendall, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire provides vital service and support to homeless people and we hope that our donation will go some way to providing some comfort to those without a home this Christmas.”

Keeping the local school children safe
Keresley Grange Primary Academy has received a donation of 315 high visibility snap bands from Taylor Wimpey Midlands, in a bid to help children get to and from school safer. The snap bands are to help the children be seen by drivers when out and about in the local community and allow them to stay safe to and from their walk to school and after school activities.
With 315 pupils at the school, each one will benefit from their own snap band.
John Astley, Head of School at Keresley Grange Primary Academy, commented: “The safety of our pupils is one of our utmost priorities so we’d like to say a huge thank you to Taylor Wimpey for the snap bands we have received. We encourage our parents and children to be active in the community when possible and with these snap bands they will be safer during the evenings.”
Matthew Kendall, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Midlands said: “We’re proud to donate these much needed snap bands to all pupils at Keresley Grange Primary Academy. We know the bands will be of great use, and will help to keep the children safe getting to and from after school activities. It means a great deal to us that we can provide equipment that can help to create a safer community.”
Raising money for our communities
Five team members bravely participated in the skydive, surpassing their original fundraising target while contributing to a cause close to the local community. This marks another successful initiative in our ongoing partnership with the charity. In an effort to support The Lily Mae Foundation, we raised an impressive £3,188—well above our initial target of £1,600. The charity, which provides vital support to families affected by baby loss, benefits from initiatives like this to fund services such as memory boxes, counselling, and professional training. The event, organised by our Midlands team's Charity Committee, reflects our commitment to giving back to our community. This skydive is part of a year-long partnership, with more fundraising events planned, including a charity golf day in September.Book an appointment
